Challenge Overview
The 5G Network is transforming our industries. Network improvements catalyzed by 5G will bring about new opportunities for services and technologies in the automotive and mobility sector never before seen possible.
Rogers and OVIN are inviting SMEs operating in Ontario to participate in the 5G Transportation Challenge.
Companies are encouraged to envision how they might use the Rogers 5G network for an innovative and ultra-low latency application, using the benefits of 5G networks, high precision positioning technologies and Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC).
Finalists will take part in a pitching session and selected winners will get to test their automotive and mobility innovation on a Rogers 5G testbed in the David Johnston Research + Technology Park at the University of Waterloo.
